BLKRN Showcase was created to raise awareness of local movements and creators based in Central Ohio. The concept is to help locals become aware of the interests of their peers, in addition to discovering any potential opportunities for collaboration. BLKRN Showcase was previously known as The BLKRN Collective. We decided to change the name to better reflect the goals of the initiative. We encourage our visitors to check out the work of all of our collaborators on their respective sites below. If you have a project yourself that you're interested in sharing, shoot an email to email@example.com.
"After I graduated from Ohio State University, I picked up and moved across the country to Austin, Texas. I didn’t know anyone before moving here, nor did I have a job. I took a thrilling risk. My blog, SamanthaRuwe.com, is mostly dedicated to my experiences in a new city. On my blog, you will see advice on moving and life in general, my favorite spots in Austin, photographs, and whatever my heart feels compelled and inspired to write about."

"Hello! We are two Cincinnati based South-Indian women interested in content design, photography and creative direction and have recently started a page as a creative outlet for our thoughts and ideas. Our goal is to incorporate our South-Asian cultures with our contemporary 'hip-hop socialist' lifestyle through photoshoots, think pieces, weekly tunes and more. We hope to empower women by helping them express their creativity, just as we aim to do ourselves."
